We are looking for an elite professional to drive our project management initiatives forward. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Your Role and Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager-Projects, you will be at the heart of our engineering and project execution. You will have a significant impact on the successful delivery of key projects.

Core Functions and Duties:

• Project Conceptualization: Prepare project concept notes and detailed project definitions.
• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project milestone schedules.
• Layout and Design: Oversee layout reviews and coordinate with all stakeholders for timely approvals.
• Financial Oversight: Prepare CAPEX budgets with a focus on project timelines, costs, and technologies.
• Risk Management: Escalate any potential cost overruns or changes in project scope to the Project Head.
• Scheduling and Monitoring: Prepare, review, and monitor the overall project schedule and progress.
• Technical Review: Review Design Data Sheets for utilities, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Team and Vendor Coordination: Liaise with consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utility Management: Design and select utilities based on process and product requirements.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review User Requirement Specifications (URS), P&IDs, qualification and validation documents, SOPs, and QMS documents.
• Quality Assurance: Supervise all vendor activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Site Readiness: Monitor and update the progress of execution and qualification activities to ensure site readiness within the required timelines.
• Procurement Coordination: Work closely with the purchase team for equipment ordering and finalization.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

Who Should Apply:

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Projects Engineering within a Biotech/Pharmaceutical company.
