Job Description
Intas Pharmaceuticals is expanding its Plasma Fractionation unit in Ahmedabad and invites applications for the position of Senior Executive – Purchase. This role is critical to strengthen the procurement function supporting Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, QC, R&D, and indirect categories in a highly regulated biotech/pharma (injectables) environment.

Skills/Qualifications
- 7–10 years procurement experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry
- Hands-on experience in Injectable/Plasma Fractionation procurement highly preferred
- Mandatory knowledge of SAP MM module or equivalent ERP system
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with contract management, SLAs, KPIs, and audit documentation
- Knowledge of indirect procurement (IT, facilities, logistics, services)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle RM, PM, QC, and R&D procurement
- Manage indirect procurement (IT, facilities, logistics, services)
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors
- Support contract drafting and compliance
- Monitor supplier performance against SLAs/KPIs
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Maintain procurement records for audits
