Current Openings at Ipca – Indore Unit
Engineering (API) – Engineer (Documentation)
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Profile: Responsible for engineering QMS handling, plant maintenance documentation, and compliance with cGMP requirements. Must maintain updated SOPs, support audits, and have expertise in AutoCAD.
Production (API) – Officer / Chemist
- Qualification: UG/PG in relevant field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Profile: Charge and monitor process batches as per SOP/BPCR, supervise operators/technicians, and ensure proper handling of equipment, utensils, and intermediates. Strict adherence to SOPs and GMP standards required.
EHS (API) – Asst. Manager / Executive (Safety)
- Qualification: BE / Diploma in Industrial Safety
- Experience: Minimum 7 years
- Profile: Lead the EHS department, monitor safety systems, conduct risk assessments, manage hazardous materials, conduct training programs, and ensure statutory documentation. Must drive a strong safety-first culture.
Engineering / Production (API) – Apprentice (Fresher – Male)
- Qualification: BSc / MSc Chemistry or BE / Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Electrical
- Experience: Freshers welcome
- Profile: Excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain valuable on-the-job training at an industry-recognized pharmaceutical API plant. Candidates must be adaptable, eager to learn, and team-oriented.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in WHO, MHRA, or USFDA-approved API plants preferred (except fresher apprentices).
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, compliance, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Freshers applying for Apprentice positions must show enthusiasm and willingness to grow in a fast-paced setup.
