Core Duties of the Role:

  • Daily Laboratory Data Monitoring: You will monitor, and evaluate laboratory results from central labs, ensuring they align with protocol-specific guidelines.
  • Data Analysis and Trend Identification: With your experience, you will analyze laboratory data to identify significant trends, shifts, or clinically noteworthy changes in subject lab values.
  • Investigator Site Communication: A key part of your role will be to contact investigator sites to gather additional clinical information when necessary and compose clear medical narratives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will serve as a liaison between various teams, including the Medical Services Department, sponsor-designated labs, and the IQVIA Project Team, ensuring seamless information flow.
  • Project Support: Assisting the Lead Medical Surveillance Specialist with project set-up activities and attending project meetings will be part of your responsibilities.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong scientific background and relevant experience in a clinical or medical setting. Your qualifications and skills will be the foundation for your success in this role.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or allied health sciences is required. This includes fields such as pharmacy, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, nursing, medical laboratory sciences, or physiotherapy. Degrees in healthcare fields like medicine (allopathy, homeopathy, ayurveda), or dentistry are also accepted.
  • Relevant Experience: Candidates should have 2 to 6 years of relevant experience, with a mandatory minimum of 2.5 years specifically in medical surveillance.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: You must possess a strong ability to comprehend and integrate scientific data from various sources. Proficiency in word processing and data management is essential, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for this role, as is the ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
