We are seeking candidates passionate about pharmacovigilance for the following role:
Safety Associate Trainee
- Location: Mukundapur, Kolkata, West Bengal
- Job Type: Full-time (flexibility to work in shifts, including night shifts for US/Canada regions)

Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or allied healthcare disciplines (B.Pharm, M.Sc., B.Sc.).
- High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare field acceptable with relevant coursework.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review, assess, and process safety data and adverse event (AE) reports from various sources.
- Distribute safety reports to internal and external parties per regulations, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Perform pharmacovigilance tasks, including AE tracking, database entry, coding AEs/products, writing narratives, and literature-related activities.
- Complete assigned trainings on time and meet productivity/quality standards.
- Identify and escalate quality issues to senior team members or mentors.
- Attend project meetings, provide feedback, and ensure 100% compliance with people practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations team or Manager.
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive keyboard use requiring repetitive finger motion.
- Regular telephone and face-to-face communication needing accurate speech perception.
- Prolonged sitting; occasional travel may be required.
