Job Role – Medicinal Chemistry Group Leader / Principal Scientist
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Medicinal Chemistry team, working closely with cross-functional scientific groups.
- Provide scientific and strategic leadership in drug discovery projects.
- Drive the design and synthesis of novel chemical entities (NCEs).
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Structure Activity Relationship (SAR) and Structure Property Relationship (SPR) to support drug design.
- Contribute to project planning, resource management, and team development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of industrial experience in medicinal chemistry research.
- Qualification: PhD in Organic Chemistry with Postdoctoral research in Medicinal Chemistry / Organic Chemistry.
- Strong publication record and proven leadership in drug discovery and development projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and productivity.
