Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As part of the Discovery Chemistry team, your role will include:
- Designing and executing multi-step organic synthesis reactions
- Developing Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) understanding and medicinal chemistry expertise
- Optimizing synthetic routes for targeted compounds
- Characterizing organic molecules using spectroscopic techniques (NMR, IR, MS, etc.)
- Analyzing and interpreting research data, maintaining accurate lab records
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives
- Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on synthetic challenges
