Job Details
- Position: Junior Scientific Officer / Junior Technician
- Department: Molecular Biology
- Qualification: B.Sc / B.Tech / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or other Life Science domains
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years in a molecular setup

Key Responsibilities
- Perform DNA and RNA extraction using manual and automated methods.
- Conduct Real-Time PCR and other molecular diagnostic assays for infectious diseases and genetic testing.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., thermal cyclers, automated extractors).
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document test results accurately and maintain data integrity for audits.
- Collaborate with the molecular biology team to support diagnostic and research activities.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction procedures and Real-Time PCR.
- Familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting of molecular biology lab instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment with shift flexibility.
- Basic knowledge of NABL or ISO 15189 standards is an advantage.
