Position: Research Associate – Cell Biology and Protein Biochemistry
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Role Overview
The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting antibody testing in cell lines to evaluate their therapeutic potential. This role involves supporting molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification activities while executing cell-based assays for biologics development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression, and purification of antibodies and biomolecules.
- Generate stable cell lines for biologics research.
- Conduct functional assays, including viability, proliferation, and apoptosis assays.
- Characterize antibodies using ELISA, Western Blot, FACS, and Fluorescence Microscopy.
- Develop and optimize new assays to enhance antibody testing processes.
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and contribute to scientific discussions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum two years of laboratory experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification.
- Strong background in cell culture and cell-based assays.
- Ability to follow complex SOPs with high standards of safety and quality control.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
