Piramal Pharma Solutions is actively hiring for the In-Vitro department at its Ahmedabad facility. This role focuses on small-molecule drug discovery within a fast-paced Contract Research Organization (CRO) setup, managing time-bound, client-driven projects that demand precision and efficiency.
Manager – Senior Research Associate – In-Vitro (Assay Biology)
- Department: In-Vitro

- Role: Hands-on execution and management of in-vitro assays supporting small-molecule drug discovery projects
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat - Experience: 1-5 years in CRO industry
- Education/Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or relevant field
Skills/Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise in cell-free assays including enzyme inhibition, binding, kinase, phosphatase, and reporter assays
- Proficiency in cell-based assays such as cytotoxicity, proliferation, apoptosis, and receptor internalization
- Strong technical skills in TR-FRET/HTRF, FP, AlphaScreen, NanoBRET, Flow Cytometry, high-content imaging, Live Cell Analysis, ELISA, Western blot, and FLIPR
- Experience in assay miniaturization from 96-well to 384-well formats
- Solid background in small-molecule drug discovery within CRO or drug discovery settings
- Excellent time management for handling service-driven, time-bound projects
- High attention to detail and strong technical acumen

- Execute cell-free and cell-based in-vitro assays for drug discovery projects
- Manage time-bound CRO projects with focus on quality and timelines
- Perform assay miniaturization and optimization in multi-well formats
