Job Opportunity: QA Manager
We are seeking a diligent QA Manager to lead quality assurance at our Bhud, Baddi facility, specializing in tablets, capsules, dry syrups, liquid orals, and ointments. The role reports directly to the Managing Director, with a competitive CTC (salary no bar for deserving candidates).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee QA documentation (SMF, QMS, SOPs, PVPR, COPP) per Drugs and Cosmetics Act, New Schedule M, and WHO guidelines.
- Implement pharmacopeial requirements (IP, BP, USP) for allopathic medicine production.
- Lead process validation, equipment qualification, and water system validation with meticulous documentation.
- Manage OOS, change control, CAPA, deviations, in-process controls, and Master Formulation Records.
- Prepare for and face inspections by FDCA, WHO, MNC, and third-party authorities, ensuring audit success.
- Review stability studies for existing and new products.
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance with national/international guidelines.
- Use basic computer systems for QA documentation and reporting.
- Mentor the QA team, fostering a disciplined and positive work environment.
- Be flexible for extended hours to support operational needs.
Key Requirements
- Qualification: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in pharmaceuticals (tablets, capsules, dry syrup, liquid oral, ointments), including 5 years as QA Manager.
Skills:
- Expertise in QA documentation per Drugs and Cosmetics Act, New Schedule M, WHO guidelines.
- Proficiency in process validation, equipment/water system qualification, OOS, CAPA, deviations, and stability studies.
- Ability to interpret pharmacopeial monographs and implement procedures.
- Proven track record in handling regulatory inspections.
- Strong team leadership with a disciplined, compliant attitude.
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to organizational goals.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of QC testing (chemical, instrumental, microbiological).
- Familiarity with testing equipment calibration.
- Understanding of allopathic medicine QC documentation.
- Good written/spoken English
- Willingness to reside on the factory campus.
- Knowledge of MHRA, PIC/S documentation.
