Job Profile
The Senior Executive for Export Dispatch will be responsible for handling critical operations in the logistics and supply chain function. The role requires excellent coordination skills and expertise in export procedures within a pharmaceutical plant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end export dispatch operations directly from the manufacturing plant.
- Preparing and verifying export documentation including Shipping Bills, LCs, Invoices, Packing Lists, and BRCs.
- Coordinating with customs authorities, CHAs, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure container placement and timely bookings.
- Overseeing customs clearance and ensuring adherence to all export regulations.
- Monitoring packing, loading, and dispatch activities at the plant with compliance to safety and quality standards.
- Liaising with production, quality control, and inventory teams to confirm material readiness before dispatch.
- Planning scheduling of export shipments to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintaining proper MIS, documentation, and export reports for compliance and audits.
- Ensuring full adherence to GMP, international logistics regulations, and statutory requirements.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Graduate or Post Graduate (MBA in Logistics or International Business is preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Export Dispatch and International Logistics within the pharma or manufacturing industry
