Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in packaging quality assurance within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record in vendor audits, packaging material inspections, and cost optimization.
Skills
- Expertise in packaging material vendor audits and quality inspections.
- Proficiency in handling packaging material complaints and ensuring resolution.
- Strong knowledge of artwork checking, shade card preparation, and packaging specifications.
- Ability to conduct new vendor audits and manage approval processes.
- Analytical skills for cost optimization of packaging materials.
- Familiarity with packaging trials and maintaining a packaging material repository.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Understanding of FMCG packaging standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vendor audits and inspections for packaging materials to ensure quality compliance.
- Address and resolve packaging material quality complaints efficiently.
- Manage new packaging vendor audits and oversee approval processes.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives for packaging materials without compromising quality.
- Review and approve artwork, shade cards, and specifications for new and existing packaging materials.
- Coordinate packaging material trials and maintain a comprehensive packaging material repository.
- Support the packaging team in product development for specific categories.
- Prepare and share artwork, shade cards, and specifications with Third-Party Manufacturers (TPM).
