Job Details

• Role: Executive – Quality Control
• Experience: 3+ years in a similar role
• Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related discipline
• Location: Horana, Sri Lanka (107/A, Nakandala Road, Kindelpitiya, Millewa)

Responsibilities

• Analyze in-process and finished products (tablets, capsules, dry powder injections)
• Test raw materials, stability samples, and water (purified, WFI, steam condensate)
• Calibrate analytical balances, pH meters, and conductivity meters
• Use HPLC, UV Spectrometer, FTIR, Polarimeter, TOC, and Dissolution Apparatus
• Prepare SOPs and trend reports
• Maintain good documentation practices and laboratory 5S system
• Monitor lab inventory, glassware, and cleaning processes
• Ensure compliance with pharmacopeial requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or similar field
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control
• Proficiency in handling HPLC, UV, FTIR, and Dissolution Apparatus
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and pharmacopeial standards
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
