Chemist – GC Analysis
- Department: Quality Control
- Purpose: Perform GC analysis and documentation in compliance with cGMP, cGLP, EHS requirements, and procedures
- Key Focus Areas: Shift operations, GC systems analysis, documentation, instrument maintenance, and training
Skills/Qualifications
- Proficiency in GC equipment operation and calibration
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Expertise in preparing solutions and processing chromatographs
- Adherence to EHS protocols in laboratory settings
- Accurate raw data recording and documentation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot instrument issues
- Commitment to timely deviation reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Handle proper shift takeover and handover
- Plan daily activities and prioritize tasks
- Ensure GC cylinder status and column stabilization
- Prepare system suitability, standard, and test solutions
- Calibrate equipment and evaluate system suitability
- Process chromatographs and submit for review
- Maintain 100% cGMP, cGLP, and EHS adherence
- Report abnormalities and deviations promptly
- Record all raw data and usage logs accurately
- Troubleshoot daily instrument issues
