Grade/Pay Scale
- E0: ₹30,000–₹1,20,000
- Training Stipend: ₹30,000/month during the one-year training period, plus accommodation and medical facilities.
- Post-Training: Absorbed in E0 grade with a pay scale of ₹30,000–₹1,20,000.
Job Role
- Conduct chemical analysis of coal, ash, flue gas, and water (e.g., chloride, DO, silica, phosphate) at NTPC’s power plants.
- Oversee operations of DM plant, water treatment, condensate polishing unit, and other water treatment facilities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental parameters and support lab operations per GLP standards.

- Preferred: Candidates with knowledge of analytical instruments (e.g., spectrophotometer, ion chromatography) and power plant chemistry.
Selection Process
- All India Online Selection Test: Objective-type exam with sections on:
- Subject Knowledge (Chemistry, analytical techniques).
- Executive Aptitude Test (general awareness, reasoning).
- Candidates must qualify in both sections separately.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on merit.
- Medical Examination: To ensure physical fitness.
