About This Role
As a Medical Writer I at Parexel, you will play a key role in communicating complex scientific data to stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, medical professionals, and the public. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a variety of clinical documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate Reports:
- Prepare and manage scheduled/unscheduled reports such as PSURs, PBRERs, DSURs, PADERs, RMPs, and more.
- Conduct literature reviews, signal detection, and epidemiological analysis to support safety reports.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and global regulations.
- Clinical Study Report (CSR) Narratives:
- Write clear, accurate patient narratives based on clinical and safety data.
- Perform quality checks and assist in formatting deliverables.
- General Duties:
- Maintain knowledge of drug safety profiles, regulatory guidelines, and project-specific requirements.
- Attend meetings, draft agendas/minutes, and track action items.
- Support audits, mentor junior writers, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- Education:
- Minimum: University degree in Life Sciences, Health, or Biomedical Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology).
- Advantage: Degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, or Physiotherapy with hospital-based patient exposure.
- Experience: Relevant experience in Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, or a related field is desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
