Role Overview: Head of Business Development – Africa

As the Head of Business Development, you’ll drive strategic growth across African markets. Based in Kinshasa, DRC, this role demands expertise in pharmaceutical business development and a vision for market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to penetrate East and West African markets.
Build and strengthen distributor and partner networks for sustainable growth.
Lead mergers and acquisitions to expand Prince Pharma’s footprint.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify high-potential opportunities.
Negotiate commercial terms and draft contracts with legal counsel support.
Ensure business plans align with market demands and company goals.

This role reports directly to the CEO and offers a platform to shape the future of healthcare in Africa.

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for a results-driven professional with the following qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record in pharmaceutical business development, specifically in East and West African markets.
Skills: Expertise in opening new markets and building robust distributor networks.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Hands-on experience in executing M&A deals within the pharma sector.
Qualifications: Science Graduate with MBA preferred; 4–8 years of relevant experience.
Location: Based in Kinshasa, DRC, with willingness to travel across Africa.

Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
