Key Responsibilities
Production
- Execute API production processes adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Optimize manufacturing workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain accurate production records and support scale-up activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
Quality Control (QC)
- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
- Use analytical tools like HPLC, GC, and UV for precise analysis.
- Document test results and support quality audits.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Implement and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) for compliance.
- Review and approve validation protocols and batch records.
- Conduct investigations for deviations and implement CAPA.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
Research & Development (R&D)
- Develop and optimize APIs and formulations for regulated markets.
- Conduct pre-formulation and process characterization studies.
- Support DMF filings with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate on innovative product development projects.
Engineering
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems.
- Ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Support preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
- Assist in process validation and facility upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Production: B.Sc Chemistry + Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- QC/QA: M.Sc Chemistry.
- R&D: M.Sc Chemistry.
- Engineering: B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
- Experience: 1-3 years for Production, QC, QA, and Engineering; 1-4 years for R&D.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of API manufacturing, cGMP, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV) for QC roles.
- Expertise in process development and DMF filings for R&D.
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for Engineering.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
