Job Description for OSD and Parenteral Manufacturing Jobs
Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Relevant academic background in pharmaceutical sciences or related fields.
- Experience in regulated plants (e.g., USFDA, MHRA) is preferred.
Experience
- 2–8 years of hands-on experience in OSD manufacturing or parenteral manufacturing within a pharmaceutical environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance.
Skills
- Manufacturing (OSD):
- Expertise in granulation, compression, Fluid Bed Equipment (FBE), cyto/sex hormones, blister packing (primary), and capsule manufacturing (hard gelatine and soft gelatine).
- Knowledge of OSD production processes and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to GMP standards.
- Manufacturing (Parenteral):
- Proficiency in general injectable manufacturing, cyto/sex hormones, parenteral SKID operations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and GMP documentation.
- Experience with aseptic processes and parenteral production lines.
- Ability to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for both roles.
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing (OSD):
- Execute granulation, compression, FBE, and capsule manufacturing processes for OSD products.
- Perform blister packing (primary) and ensure quality standards are met.
- Support cyto/sex hormone production and maintain GMP compliance.
- Document production activities and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Manufacturing (Parenteral):
- Operate and manage general injectable and cyto/sex hormone production lines.
- Support SKID operations and ensure aseptic conditions in parenteral manufacturing.
- Maintain QMS and GMP documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Assist in quality assurance and process optimization activities.
