Position Overview: Clinical Data Associate I / II / III

The Clinical Data Associate plays a crucial role in managing all data-related activities for complex clinical trials. You will ensure data integrity and quality, working collaboratively with various teams to support the successful execution of studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Review: Perform thorough reviews of discrepancy outputs and validation listings. You will issue queries and apply corrections as outlined in the Data Management Plan (DMP).
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Create test data and conduct UAT for data entry screens, edits, and data review listings to ensure system functionality.
Quality Control (QC): Conduct internal QC checks and peer reviews. For EDC studies, you will perform DM quality reviews and other checks as required.
Vendor Data Reconciliation: Ensure data from external sources (labs, PK data, IRT) is consistent with the clinical database, querying and resolving discrepancies.
Documentation & Reporting: Assist in reviewing and updating key documents like the Data Management Plan and CRF Completion Guidelines. You will also run and review data cleaning reports.
Team Collaboration & Training: Coordinate the work of other CDAs on your project. You will also provide project-specific training and support to team members.

Who We Are Looking For

Syneos Health seeks a candidate with a strong background in clinical data management and a keen eye for detail. You should be a proactive problem-solver, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Education: A BA/BS degree in biological sciences or a related discipline in the natural science/health care field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Clinical Data Management practices.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Inform EDC is highly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) is essential.
Core Competencies: Must have experience in study Conduct & Closeout phases, including discrepancy management, vendor reconciliation, SAE reconciliation, and data cleaning.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a startup environment.
Therapeutic area knowledge, preferably in Vaccine & Oncology.
Familiarity with CPT/Metrics is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
