Job Description
Syngene International is hiring an In Vitro ADME Scientist to join the Discovery Biology department within Discovery Services. This laboratory-based role focuses on supporting the ADME team in physicochemical and plasma protein binding studies for drug discovery projects.
Ideal for candidates passionate about DMPK, the position involves high-volume assays and cross-functional collaboration in a compliant, safety-driven environment.

Skills/Qualifications
- M.Pharm in any pharmaceutical science or M.Sc in biological sciences
- Comprehensive understanding of in vitro ADME assays with troubleshooting expertise
- In-depth knowledge of biochemical aspects and enzyme kinetics related to metabolism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Experience with automation (desirable)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic lab environments and meet timelines
- Evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals (preferred)

- Plan and execute Kinetic solubility, LogD, and plasma stability assays
- Perform blood stability, RED, and UCPPB assays
- Ensure accuracy and reproducibility of data
- Troubleshoot technical challenges in assays
- Maintain compliant laboratory documentation
- Contribute to method development and validation
- Prepare SOPs and EOPs
- Report studies without non-compliance
- Present results in cross-functional meetings
- Adhere to EHS protocols and promote safety
