Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Peptide Synthesis & Characterization:
- Excel in multiple peptide synthesis methods, including hybrid Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and Liquid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS).
- Design, develop, and implement sustainable, innovative processes for complex peptide synthesis.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of peptide chemists in creating efficient and sustainable synthetic peptide processes.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize chromatography, mass spectrometry, optical spectroscopy, and peptide automation tools to advance research goals.
Your Profile
We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Option 1: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field with 2-5 years of experience in synthetic peptide chemistry.
- Option 2: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with 8-10 years of experience in synthetic peptide chemistry.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in peptide synthesis and characterization techniques.
- Leadership experience in guiding scientific teams.
- Familiarity with analytical tools like chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Passion for sustainable innovation in chemistry.
