Position Overview
We are hiring Junior Research Fellows for Wet-Lab and Bioinformatics roles under Project A/C No. 5728. These positions focus on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for cancer genomics, offering hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art lab.

Qualifications and Responsibilities
Junior Research Fellow (Wet-Lab)
- Qualification: Master’s in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Zoology, Life Sciences, or Biochemistry with ≥60% marks.
- Experience: 6 months in molecular biology/molecular diagnostics preferred.
- Role: Prepare samples for NGS of cancer patients.
- Age Limit: 30 years as of 23rd June 2025.
- Salary: Rs. 32,000/month.
Junior Research Fellow (Bioinformatics)
- Qualification: Master’s in Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, or Life Sciences with ≥60% marks; knowledge of R, Perl, Python, and Unix/Linux/Windows.
- Role: Analyze NGS data (targeted sequencing, exome, transcriptomic), create reports, and troubleshoot.
- Age Limit: 30 years as of 23rd June 2025.
- Salary: Rs. 32,000/month.
Appointment Duration
Initial 6-month contract or until project continuation, whichever is earlier.
