Key Responsibilities
As an Executive – SCM Production, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our seed production processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing improved paddy and wheat seed production programs based on market demand and company targets.
- Identifying suitable areas and collaborating with farmers/organizers for seed production.
- Supervising seed production fields to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitoring crop growth, pest management, and disease control.
- Working closely with contract farmers to provide guidance and support.
- Ensuring seed quality meets regulatory and internal company requirements.
- Managing production costs to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Conducting regular field inspections and maintaining detailed records.
- Overseeing timely application of fertilizers, irrigation, and agronomic practices.
- Preparing and submitting regular reports to management on crop status and challenges.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Agriculture.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in seed production or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of paddy and wheat crop management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with farmers and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in monitoring production costs and ensuring quality standards.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
