• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Experience: 4 to 7 Years
• Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad

Job Specification & Key Responsibilities

This role is integral to our business finance team, offering diverse exposure to corporate accounts, finance, and legal functions, particularly for Torrent’s subsidiaries.

• Business Finance & Control: Act as the financial controller for designated subsidiaries, responsible for managing payments, implementing robust financial controls, and ensuring compliance.
• Audit & Financial Reporting: Lead the support for annual audits by engaging directly with auditors, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the timely submission of all required data.
• Subsidiary Management: Manage the finalization and closure of subsidiary trial balances, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Business Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of Sales and Gross Contribution (GC) to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Budgeting & Performance Reporting: Drive the preparation and analysis of business budgets. Develop and present various business performance reports for management review.
• Commercial & Legal Support: Assist in the finalization of legal agreements and contribute to building strong business cases for new in-licensing and in-house product opportunities.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of advanced MS Excel and SAP would be a significant advantage.
