Job Description

As a Science Teacher at the SVG Centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to underprivileged students, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will span teaching Science across various grade levels and ensuring student engagement and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Science to students from Standard 4th to 10th (SSC Board curriculum).
• Teach Biology and Chemistry to 11th and 12th-grade students (Mumbai University curriculum).
• Prepare and deliver well-structured, creative lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide academic support and mentoring to students, fostering their intellectual and personal growth.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and order in the classroom and laboratory settings.
• Collaborate with the SVG Centre team to support the holistic development of students.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science with a specialization in Biochemistry.
  • B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in High School or Junior College.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management and ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Familiarity with SSC Board and Mumbai University curricula.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to social development.
• Preferences: Candidates with experience in teaching underprivileged students or working in CSR initiatives are encouraged to apply.
