Locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Trichy, Salem, Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day operations of Same-Day Surgery Coding
- Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT standards
- Meet productivity and quality requirements per Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Adhere to Vee Healthtek’s Coding Compliance policy (internal and client-specific)
- Prepare and maintain status reports for coding activities
- Improve performance based on feedback from reporting managers
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coding accuracy
Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum graduation in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences (e.g., B.Sc, B.Pharm, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Same-Day Surgery coding experience (2-6 years for Senior Coder/QA roles)
- Skills:
- Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding standards
- Knowledge of same-day surgery coding (e.g., outpatient procedures, ambulatory surgery)
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance policies
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
- Preferred: CPC or COC certification (AAPC or AHIMA)
- Note: Candidates with US healthcare coding experience and regulatory exposure preferred
