Available Job Position: CDI Specialist (Work-From-Home)
We are hiring CDI Specialists to support our clients in improving clinical documentation accuracy, ensuring compliance, and optimizing reimbursement.
Details
- Location: 100% Remote (Philippines-based candidates only)
- Experience: 2-5 years in Clinical Documentation Improvement or related healthcare roles
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field; AHIMA or AAPC certification (e.g., CCDS, CDIP) preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Review medical records to ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify documentation for coding accuracy
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation for better reimbursement and compliance
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Provide education and feedback to providers on CDI best practices
- Utilize CDI software and EHR systems to track and report documentation improvements
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and DRG assignment
- Proficiency in clinical documentation improvement processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for provider collaboration
- Familiarity with QMS and healthcare compliance
