Job Opportunity: Medical Coder Trainee
We are seeking fresh Life Sciences graduates for Medical Coder Trainee positions at our Chennai facility. This role offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in medical coding, preparing you for a successful career in healthcare BPO services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for diagnoses and procedures based on patient records.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
- Review medical charts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality in all coding activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Life Sciences Graduate (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related fields)
- Experience: Freshers (0 years of experience)
Skills:
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with coding systems (ICD-10, CPT) is a plus but not mandatory.
