Position Details: Principal Scientist/Associate Director – Medicinal Chemistry
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our medicinal chemistry initiatives with expertise and vision.
Qualifications
- PhD or Post-Doctoral degree
- 5-8 years of medicinal chemistry experience in Pharma or Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
- 10 years of overall experience
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead medicinal chemistry projects from hit identification to lead optimization and candidate nomination.
- Design and synthesize novel compounds with optimal pharmacological properties (efficacy, safety, ADME).
- Manage and mentor a team of medicinal chemists to achieve project goals.
- Interpret biological data to refine structure-activity relationships (SAR) and drive compound optimization.
Skills Required
- Expertise in medicinal chemistry and drug design
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in SAR analysis and compound optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
