Job Description

Emcure Pharmaceuticals is hiring experienced professionals for its Injectable Unit at Sanand to support aseptic manufacturing operations. Openings span Engineering (Plant Maintenance, Utility, and Project), QC Microbiology, and Production departments. These roles focus on maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency in complex injectable processes.

Plant Maintenance (Engineering)

• Department: Engineering – Plant Maintenance
• Role: Operator/Officer/Executive
• Experience: 02 to 06 years

Project (Civil) (Engineering)

• Department: Engineering – Project
• Role: Executive / Asst. Manager
• Experience: 04 to 08 years

Utility (Engineering)

• Department: Engineering – Utility
• Role: Operator/Officer
• Experience: 02 to 06 years

QC Microbiology

• Department: Quality Control – Microbiology

Skills/Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in aseptic injectable manufacturing or related pharmaceutical operations
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (USFDA, WHO, etc.)
• Technical expertise in equipment maintenance, utilities (HVAC, WFI, PW, compressed air, boilers), or microbiological testing
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues
• Experience with documentation, investigations (OOS/OOT, deviations), and CAPA implementation
• Team coordination, vendor management, and project execution skills
• Preference for candidates from pharmaceutical injectable or sterile manufacturing background

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of filling lines, autoclaves, HVAC, and utilities
• Execute microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, water, sterility, and endotoxin
• Operate and maintain aseptic filling, vial washing, leak testing, and isolator systems
• Ensure GMP compliance and adherence to aseptic practices in cleanrooms
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze breakdowns, and implement CAPA for continuous improvement
• Manage project activities, coordinate with teams and vendors, and track timelines & budgets
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, records, and support audit readiness
• Support method validation, qualification, and regulatory compliance activities
