Medical Coder Role Overview
We are hiring Certified and Non-Certified Medical Coders to support our mission of optimizing healthcare outcomes. This role is open to freshers with relevant qualifications and certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses and procedures.
- Review patient records for documentation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for record clarification.
- Maintain data integrity and patient confidentiality.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc. (Biotech, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology).
- Certifications (preferred): CPC, CRC, CCS, CPC-P, COC, CCA, CCDS, CCS-P, CDEO, CDIP, CIC, RHIA, RHIT.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
