Job Description
Jubilant Biosys is looking for an experienced Process Safety professional to lead safety assessments and risk management for chemical processes across lab, pilot, and commercial scales. The role is critical in ensuring safe technology transfer and operations in the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals domain.
Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Process Safety
- Department: Process Safety

- Experience: 5–8 Years
- Education/Qualification: B.Tech (Chemical Engineering)
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Reaction Calorimetry (RC), DSC, and ARC
- Expertise in powder safety studies (MIE, MIT, Kst, MEC)
- Knowledge of thermal stability, runaway reaction potential, and safe operating limits
- Experience in process safety for hazardous chemistries and scale-up
- Strong understanding of regulatory and safety guidelines
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process safety assessments for new and existing processes
- Develop and review risk assessment plans for scale-up
- Conduct and interpret calorimetry and powder safety studies
- Define safe operating limits and control strategies
