Job Description
Baxter is actively recruiting for the position of Associate I, Quality Assurance at its Ahmedabad facility. The role is critical in ensuring batch disposition, compliance, and quality oversight for manufactured products.
This position supports the release of safe and effective pharmaceutical batches while maintaining highest regulatory standards.
Associate I, Quality Assurance

Skills/Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in batch record review, deviation handling, and batch disposition
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with strong documentation abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
Key Responsibilities
- Perform batch disposition after reviewing manufacturing, packing, and testing records
- Assess impact of proposed changes on batch release
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and non-conformities
- Manage on-hold and rejected batches, ensuring proper quarantine and destruction
- Prepare and submit Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and Certificate of Manufacturing (CoM)
- Control on-status batch shipment process and documentation
- Report daily batch release/reject status to Supervisor/Head QA
- Support PAC/RA team with quality queries and regulatory updates
- Escalate regulatory queries and support authorities with documentation
- Contribute to continuous compliance initiatives at the site
