Qualifications
- Manufacturing: B.E / B.Tech in Biotechnology or Biochemistry; M.Sc / B.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Biochemistry; B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Engineering: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanical, or Mechatronics from a recognized institution.
- Quality: M.Sc / B.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Biochemistry; B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Strong academic performance and a keen interest in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required (ideal for fresh graduates).
- Academic projects, internships, or coursework in biologics, biosimilars, engineering, or quality control are a plus.
Skills
Manufacturing:
- Basic understanding of fill-finish processes, biosimilars, or insulin production.
- Willingness to learn aseptic manufacturing techniques and bioprocessing.
Engineering:
- Knowledge of maintenance, instrumentation, or automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems is an advantage.
Quality:
- Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Analytical mindset for quality assurance and quality control tasks.
Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation.
Responsibilities
Manufacturing – Fill Finish, Biosimilars, Insulin:
- Assist in fill-finish operations for biologics, biosimilars, or insulin production under supervision.
- Support bioprocessing activities and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Learn and contribute to aseptic manufacturing processes.
Engineering – Maintenance, Instrumentation, Automation:
- Support maintenance of equipment and systems in the manufacturing facility.
- Assist in instrumentation and automation tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Learn troubleshooting and preventive maintenance techniques.
Quality – QA & QC:
- Support quality assurance activities, including documentation and compliance checks.
- Assist in quality control testing and analysis of biologics and biosimilars.
- Learn to apply GMP and GLP standards in quality processes.
