Job Description

Lyfius Pharma is hiring experienced professionals for its Fermentation department in the API Division. This walk-in drive is focused on Upstream Process and Microbiology roles for large-scale fermentation operations.

Fermentation – Production (Upstream Process)

• Department: Production (Fermentation)
• Position: Executive / Senior Executive
• Experience: 2-8 Years
• Education/Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech in Biotechnology or Chemistry

Fermentation – Microbiology

• Department: Microbiology (Fermentation)
• Position: Executive / Senior Executive
• Experience: 2-8 Years
• Education/Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech in Biotechnology or Microbiology

Skills/Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in large-scale fermenters (20KL – 300KL)
• Strong knowledge of Upstream Process in fermentation
• Experience in Microbiology Lab supporting antibiotic, statin, and enzyme production
• Expertise in scale-up and fermentation project management
• Good understanding of cGMP and safety practices
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale fermentation operations (Upstream Process)
• Lead fermentation projects from concept to commercial production
• Perform microbiological testing and analysis for fermentation batches
• Monitor and control critical process parameters
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Support troubleshooting and process optimization
