Job Description

Malladi Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd is seeking qualified Analytical R&D professionals to join its Chennai-based research division.

The selected candidate will contribute to analytical method development, validation activities, regulatory compliance, and quality-focused research projects within the API R&D department.

Junior Scientist – Analytical

  • Department: Analytical R&D
  • Market: Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)
  • Role: Junior Scientist – Analytical
  • Experience: 2–5 Years
  • Education/Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of HPLC operations and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • Hands-on expertise in UV/Visible spectroscopy
  • Working knowledge of FTIR analysis
  • Method development and validation experience
  • Assay method development expertise
  • Impurity and Related Substance (RS) analysis
  • Residual solvent testing knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing of API samples
  • Develop and validate analytical methods
  • Execute HPLC and GC analyses
  • Conduct impurity and residual solvent studies
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP standards
  • Prepare analytical documentation and reports
