Job Description
Sanofi’s Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV) team is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Manager II to partner with the Country Safety Head in Brazil. The role focuses on implementing robust local safety surveillance, risk management plans, and compliance activities to ensure the safe use of Sanofi products. This position offers significant impact in a dynamic, international pharmacovigilance environment.
Pharmacovigilance Manager II
- Department: Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV)
- Role: Pharmacovigilance Manager II
- Experience: Significant PV or related managerial experience
- Education/Qualification: Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong expertise in pharmacovigilance systems and safety documentation (RMPs, PBRERs, signal detection)
- Proven leadership in building multidisciplinary teams and implementing risk minimization measures
- Excellent stakeholder management and regulatory liaison skills
- Thorough knowledge of global and local PV regulations (EMA, FDA, ANVISA, ICH-GCP, GVP)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety database tools
Key Responsibilities
- Support Country Safety Head in local PV compliance and risk management
- Implement Risk Management Plans (RMPs) and additional risk minimization measures
- Contribute to local safety surveillance and signal detection
- Prepare and submit local periodic safety reports (PSRs)
- Review safety sections of product information and contracts
- Participate in audits, due diligence, and cross-functional collaboration
