Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical formulation or API manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulatory documentation requirements
- Hands-on experience with OSD equipment (compression, capsule filling, bottle packing machines)
- Proficiency in handling QMS documents including Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, and Incidents
- Electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and knowledge of HT lines, DG sets, boilers, air compressors, and water chillers
- Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and housekeeping standards
- Ability to supervise teams and ensure safety & compliance in regulated plants
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise manufacturing, compression, and packing activities
- Review and approve SOPs, BMR, BPR, and validation protocols
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and utilities
- Handle material dispensing, receipt, GRN preparation, and warehouse QMS
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and GMP standards
- Maintain accurate records and area logbooks
- Identify process improvements and equipment utilization enhancements
- Operate and calibrate equipment like capsule filling and bottle packing machines
