Qualifications
- Production: ITI/Diploma for Operators; B.Pharm/B.E/B.Tech for Executives.
- Packing: ITI/Diploma for Operators.
- Engineering: ITI/Diploma for Technicians; B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Instrumentation) for Executives.
- Warehouse: ITI/Diploma/B.Sc for Operators; B.Sc/B.Pharm for Officers.
- Strong academic background and relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation are required.
Experience
- 3–8 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in OSD facilities with regulatory exposure (USFDA, MHRA).
- Specific experience in granulation, compression, Wurster coating, CVC bottle line, sachet packing, process equipment maintenance, or warehouse operations.
Skills
Production (OSD):
- Expertise in operating machines like Granulation (ACG, Glatt, Tapasya, GEA), Compression (Fette, Korsch), and Wurster Coater (ACG, Glatt, Anish).
- Proficiency in Electronic Batch Manufacturing Records (E-BMR) and GMP documentation.
- Knowledge of line clearance, equipment cleaning, and QMS activities (Change Control, Deviation, CAPA).
Packing:
- Experience with CVC Bottle Line (200BPM) and Sachet Packing (Wraptech) machines.
- Skills in line clearance, equipment operation, and visual inspection per GMP standards.
- Familiarity with Track and Trace (OPTEL) and SAP transactions.
Engineering:
- Proficiency in preventive and breakdown maintenance of process equipment, HVAC, water systems, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and calibration for instrumentation roles.
- Expertise in QMS documentation and regulatory compliance.
Warehouse:
- Experience in Raw Material (RM), Packaging Material (PM), Finished Goods (FG), dispensing, dispatch, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Proficiency in SAP WMS, QMS, and online documentation.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and regulatory audits.
Responsibilities
Production (OSD):
- Operate and maintain granulation, compression, and Wurster coating equipment, ensuring GMP compliance.
- Execute E-BMR documentation and initiate QMS activities (Deviation, CAPA, Change Control).
- Monitor line clearance, equipment cleaning, and batch manufacturing processes.
Packing:
- Operate CVC Bottle Line and Wraptech Sachet Packing machines, performing line clearance and cleaning.
- Conduct visual inspections and ensure yield/productivity as per SOPs.
- Support SAP transactions and Track and Trace activities.
Engineering:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of process equipment, HVAC, water systems, and instrumentation.
- Conduct calibration, troubleshooting, and QMS documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Support PLC/SCADA operations and ensure equipment uptime.
Warehouse:
- Manage RM, PM, FG, dispensing, dispatch, and ASRS operations.
- Maintain SAP WMS records, perform inventory reconciliation, and ensure GMP documentation.
- Support regulatory audits and handle stock verification.
