Job Description
Novartis Technology & Research Development (TRD) – Pharmaceutical Development (PHAD) function is offering a 6-month internship opportunity. The role focuses on innovative pharmaceutical technologies for developing solid oral, topical, parenteral, ophthalmic, and inhalation dosage forms. Interns will gain hands-on experience in formulation development, process technologies, and material characterization in a world-class R&D environment.

- Role: 6-Month Full-time Internship
- Experience: Fresher (Master’s Student)
- Education/Qualification: Pursuing Master’s in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacology
Skills/Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacology
- Strong interest in formulation development, pharmaceutical technology, processing, and material sciences
- Good scientific skills with curiosity for lab work and process development
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams
- Excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Minitab or similar tools is a plus
- Fluency in English (German is advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
- Work on assigned projects in novel dosage form development
- Conduct feasibility trials for new pharmaceutical technologies
- Characterize material properties and link to process performance
- Support process development and performance assessment
- Build and compare models connecting material properties with processes
- Summarize findings and present results in internal meetings
